"random manga artist"! lol, i love it. your talent is certainly not wasted - thanks for shedding the radiance of your artistic light in the direction of us pitiful souls lost in the dark abyss of perpetual artists block!!

So cool to include a Camille Rose Garcia style! Now how about Gary Baseman!

Where can I get a degree in Awesomology? Fantastic stuff as usual, Meowza!

I was hoping that you'd go the Futurama route and not the Simpsons when it comes to Matt Groening. Nothing like a purple Mona Lisa with a cyclops eye.

lol... the "south park" version looks nothing like it.

These pictures are inaccurate! She doesn't have eyebrows! That should definitely have been a key point in these drawings.

I think Pollock would have been offended by a request to paint a portrait and would have said something vile while walking off, cigarette in hand.

I almost feel that the Lichtenstein one is the worst. Lichtenstein's intent was to explore the autographic mimic of industrial production. Replication through modern technical means of his style goes against his intent. I'm probably spitting unnecessary commentary though.

What about Frank Frazetta? I think we'd see a helmet, an axe, and perhaps some boobies.

Great Pollock reproduction. But then again just about anybody can do a Jackson Pollock.

Just amazing! But you didn't draw it in the Meowza style :(
Posted by biz on 2008-12-06 07:02:07
Some of these drawings are not even a close to Mona Lisa. For example the picture drawn by Camille Rose Garcia has nothing to do with Mona Lisa.

Meowza, you are getting an impressive number of diggs! I bet they show this on next week's Diggnation. :D
